I was born in Ukraine and have called the United States home since 1999. For twenty-five years, I worked as a stained glass artist for a large commercial studio, creating pieces that now live in churches, courthouses, and public spaces across the country. Working with glass taught me the beauty of light, color, and patience—lessons that continue to shape my approach to painting today.

 

In my oil paintings, I love exploring the balance between movement and stillness. My work often combines vibrant colors, fluid shapes, and expressive brushwork to capture the energy of life—whether it’s a lively quartet of musicians or the quiet reflection of boats resting on calm water. I’m drawn to subjects that evoke emotion and depth, where light and form come together to tell a story beyond the surface.

 

In 2025, I moved to Kansas City to be closer to my son and my new granddaughter. Now retired, I spend my days enjoying time with family, walking in local parks, and attending theater shows. Painting remains an important part of my life—a peaceful space where I can continue to create, reflect, and share a bit of beauty with others.
